Insane wilderness
At the royal Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, you can explore the wilderness in complete freedom. There are different types of ecodisplays in the park where animals can walk, swim and fly around freely. Sanimood transformed the sanitary areas for the restaurant in 'the Bush' so that it completely fits the tropical atmosphere of this area. Our design for the wall coverings was so well liked that it was also implemented on the walls of the entire restaurant.
Eye for detail
The Bush's tropical rainforest is home to many plants and animals. Think lush palm fronds, for example, as well as the capybara and the iguana. These inhabitants of the Bush have been carefully designed so that the wall coverings reflect the biodiversity of this area in the best possible way. Can you call all the animals in this space by their names?
Sustainable cooperation
Besides atmosphere, Sanimood has another similarity to the Bush, namely sustainability. Whereas the large waterfall in the Bush provides climate control, our sanitary facilities contribute in their own way to the sustainability of the environment. This is because Sanimood uses water-saving faucets and cisterns, making the best use of water. We also use LED lighting and our wall panels last for decades.
Our working method
As with all our projects, we have been involved in the Bush's washrooms from design to completion. Our panels are durable and 100% custom made. Because these panels are antibacterial, bacteria cannot settle. The absence of joints means that it is now much easier to clean these washrooms faster. As icing on the cake, Sanimood added gold accents from the door handles and faucets to create a regal look.
